Description

Prime Exposure Retarder – Key Benefits

Prime Exposure Retarder is designed for precision, delivering exceptional performance across various conditions and surfaces. Its fluorescent green color ensures even coverage, helping to avoid missed or untreated areas for superior results.

Key Features:

  • Consistent Application on All Surfaces: The specially formulated viscosity allows Prime Exposure Retarder to adhere seamlessly to both horizontal and vertical surfaces without excessive runoff or overexposure in grooves or valleys.
  • Superior Performance in Tough Conditions: With its advanced formula, Prime Exposure Retarder outperforms other retardants, especially in warmer or windy environments, reducing wash-off time significantly.
  • Extensive Distributor Network: Wherever your project is located, you can easily find a Prime Exposure stockist, ensuring fast and reliable supply.
  • Labor and Time Savings: When applied correctly, Prime Exposure Retarder minimizes labor and time while guaranteeing outstanding, consistent results.

Coverage:

  • One 20-liter drum of Prime Exposure Retarder covers approximately 80-100 m².

Application Guide:

  • Dilution and Coverage: Apply Prime Exposure Retarder undiluted at 0.2-0.3 liters per square meter. Ensure the surface has been troweled, the bleed water has dried, and there is enough surface moisture for optimal pitting.
  • Application Method: Do not trowel the product directly onto the surface. We recommend using a spray unit capable of covering the entire area in a single application for even results.
  • Protection in Warm/Windy Conditions: Protect the surface using builders’ film (polythene) or spray with Prime Exposure Evaploc in challenging weather. For instructions and dilution rates, refer to our website's Prime Exposure Evaploc Technical Sheet.
  • Wash-Off Timing: When the fluorescent green color fades and the Retarder has set, cover the area with polythene or apply Prime Exposure Evaploc to halve wash-off times. For temperatures above 23ºC or in windy conditions, wash off the surface four hours post-application. Same-day wash-offs require advanced experience to avoid uneven exposure.
  • Best Practice for Results: For optimal results, we recommend washing off the following day. This significantly reduces the risk of over or underexposure, ensuring a perfectly finished surface every time.
